ISSEY MIYAKE ✖︎ Tadanori Yokoo Art JKT nanou | Digital & Creative Studio

This is a rare ISSEY MIYAKE A-POC ABLE × Tadanori Yokoo “Yureyure Grass” jacket, from a limited-edition project that transforms visual art into textile expression.

The design is based on Yokoo’s “Sure Sure Grass” woodblock print series, inspired by Toshusai Sharaku’s Edo-era actor portraits. It highlights intentional “misregistration”—a shift in color plates often seen as a printing error, but here celebrated as a bold visual statement.

Unlike printed designs, this piece is expertly woven, showcasing Japanese craftsmanship at its finest. The pattern is vibrant, layered, and artistic—a true piece of wearable art.
